Amanda is a born and raised Southern California hairstylist and makeup artist residing in the Conejo Valley. Her love for the industry started as a young girl watching TLC’s What Not to Wear, and other makeover shows giving people major makeovers with their wardrobe, hair, and makeup. She naturally grew a talent to envisioning new looks for people that would bring out their natural beauty. Her interest in the industry grew when she was a teenager at the start of the YouTube Makeup Guru scene, watching artist tutorials and applying the techniques on herself and friends for various events and special occasions.

Her older sister attended cosmetology school at the beginning of her high school years, and naturally Amanda became her main “guinea pig” to practice on. It was through her sisters brief stint with cosmetology that encouraged Amanda to want to pursue the beauty industry fully as a career. Amanda attended Academy for Salon Professionals where she learned most of her craft. Over the course of 10 years Amanda would continue to further improve and refine her skills through various online and in person education, as well as working for various chain salons which gave her superior skill sets in blowouts and styling, makeup, and men’s haircutting and styling.
